Link Roundup: My Favorite Posts From December 2016

This is my second installment of link roundups of my favorite posts. I'm still trying to find a title that I like and won't mind typing up once a month, if you have any suggestions, please leave them below in a comment. This month I have put together a list of 10 blog posts from around the web that I greatly enjoyed. They range from reviews to poems to regular blog posts! If you enjoy the post, let the author know by leaving a comment on their page.

1. Tantus Rumble Dorado Head Review by Wetlandia
In this blog post, Wetlandia discusses the pros and cons of Tantus' new wand, Rumble, and attachment, Dorado Head. Wetlandia discusses how the wand is perfect for all body types and genders. They also describe how the head is versatile enough to be used on various body parts. The review includes beautiful pictures and links to where you can purchase your very own Tantus Rumble and Dorado Head.

Another review, this time by The Black Pomegranate, more specifically, MrBLK. MrBLK and Ms. Pomegranate attended Woodhull this year and were asked by a new company to review a 'Signet.' These are basically body-safe, silicone rings that completely change the feeling of masturbation or play with a partner. While the product in question is simple, it is intriguing and the way MrBLK describes his relationship with the company makes me feel like this company is going to go far this year!

Yet, another review. I promise not all of my favorite posts in December were reviews! As someone who works in technology, is married to a game designer and amazed by the advances we are steadily making in this field, I had to include this review! The Brunette Reviews had the opportunity to review an AI sex toy! Yes, you read that right. A sex toy enhanced with artificial intelligence. Not much amazes me these days in the world of sex toys, but the way The Brunette Reviews describes the things this toy can do had me on the edge of my seat!

4. Review: Fleshlight on a Mission by Liberator by Toy Meets Girl Reviews
This is the final review in my roundup for this month. This one made it on the list because male sex toy reviews don't come across my screen often. This may be due to the type of blogs I follow, but I genuinely enjoyed reading this one. This review is short and to the point, but I enjoy that. If you're looking for a device that helps with handsfree masturbation as well as can help you build your stamina, be sure to read this review first!

The title of this one had me giggling. I haven't shared this before, but I used to be a cam girl. I absolutely hated it and will not be making any more of my own amateur porn, but it was great to find someone's article on why making it is fun, interesting, and great for self-growth. This article had me nodding my head in agreement, giggling, and questioning my own masturbation methods.

This one article made it on the list because it is educational. I am a firm believer in continually educating oneself and learning about all sorts of topics. As a newer sex blogger, I hadn't really taken the phrase 'sex addiction' into consideration, much less acknowledged it as a negative phrase. I've pondered on many different topics, but not this one, not until reading this article. I suggest giving it a look over if only to update your views on a phrase that has long been hidden in dark corners and seedy bars. Sex addiction isn't real.

7. 2017 Bucket List for Sex Toy Newbies by Voluptasse on Scandarella's blog
I want to point out that this list isn't just for 'newbies' as the title suggests. While I have done a good bit of things on the list, there are a handful that are definitely going on my 2017 bucket list! Holding a sex toy party and wearing lingerie under my clothes to work to name a few. To read the full list check out the post and if you feel creative add your own! This is a guest post on Scandarella's blog by the talented Voluptasse.

8. The Best Sex Toys of 2016 by Dangerous Lilly
If you can't tell, there's a theme going on with these last couple of posts that I have picked out to share with you guys. Again, Dangerous Lilly is one of my favorite bloggers and I adore her work. Coming across this post lit up my night and I found myself recalling each post that related to the product listed. If you haven't been following her long enough to know what posts each section relates to, fret not, she links to each one.

Reading this was like attending an awards ceremony. Reading about what Emmeline thought was the best for each category made me appreciate the time she had put into the article and, to be honest, really made me want to try a couple of the products. I love that she found a way to include Cermanic Pleasures. I haven't bought from them yet, but their toys look positively exquisite.

10. A Christmas poem for grown-ups by Girl On The Net
This is the final post in my December round-up and I hope that you find it as entertaining as I did. I feel like this is what I will be reciting to myself next year as I spend 3 hours past my bedtime finishing up wrapping gifts and making sure they are placed perfectly under the Christmas tree.

And that's all! I hope you enjoyed my December round-up and be on the look out for the January one at the beginning of next month! If you liked the posts I picked out to share with you guys, please comment on the blog, the author will appreciate it!

  2. I love the idea of a roundup so much that I'm adopting this for my own blog. Most of these links are a little racy for me (which might come as a surprise from a romance author) but I did like the one about the cam girl - not because of any interest in porn, but because I'm a member of a support group for PTSD survivors, and one of the girls in the group has been greatly empowered by her own journey as a ... what are they called? I think she said she's a "humiliatrix." I've spoken to her a little about what it's like, so that post in your links above gave a new perspective on what my friend has talked about.
